What we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cleaner/Laundry Assistant to work at our Senior Living site (Nurse Maude) in Christchurch. Hours of work are casual, on an as and when required basis.

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be responsible for:

Cleaning Assistant Duties: Cleaning all rooms, kitchenette, bathrooms and toilets, vacuuming and polishing floors. You will also be emptying rubbish, maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals, and any other general cleaning duties as required.

Laundry Assistant Duties: Carrying out general laundry duties, folding laundry, cleaning laundry.

You will be required to adhere to health, safety and security procedures at all times.

If you're our perfect candidate:

You will have high standards regarding cleaning and personal presentation as well as a friendly, helpful and positive 'can do' attitude. You have previous experience in commercial cleaning.  You will also have high attention to detail, be a good communicator with a professional approach.
