Medirest is our healthcare brand providing specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals, aged care and senior living facilities throughout New Zealand.

About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for enthusiastic Permanent Part Time Multi-Site Cleaning Assistants to work at our Senior Living sites in the Bay of Plenty (Mount Maunganui & ÅŒmokoroa). We can guarantee you 16hrs of work per week, rostered across the week.

What will you be doing?

• cleaning of the resident's rooms as well as the general areas (including bathrooms, toilets, rooms and offices.
• vacuuming and polishing floors
• emptying rubbish.
• maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals
• manage cleaning duties in a timely manner
• adhere to health, safety and security procedures.

Ideal skills and experience:

If you're our ideal candidate you will have a high attention to detail and be willing to go the extra mile, take pride and ownership of the role, have high standards in personal presentation, as well as a have a friendly, helpful, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
