This role and contract sits within our Facilities Management sector of G4S, where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments.

We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaner  to join our team as part of our contract with the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. You will be based at Julian Hospital Bowthorpe Road Norwich

This is a part-time role working 18.5 hours per week Saturday & Sunday between 07:30 - 13:30 / 13:00 - 19:00.

The rate of pay is £9.48 per hour Monday to Friday, £14.22 per hour on Saturday’s and £18.96 for any hours worked on Sundays. Leave in Advert

As a Cleaner, you will ensure that the areas within the site are kept to the required levels of cleanliness to the satisfaction of both G4S Facilities Management and the Client.

Other Key Responsibilities will include:

Carry out all cleaning assigned, making full use of guidance and training given and using checklists provided.

Collection, segregation and disposal of waste materials.

Undertake manual and mechanical cleaning activities.

Ensure that all cleaning schedules are completed and checked on a daily basis.

Work safely at all times, giving due consideration to yourselves and others.

Use the appropriate work equipment and PPE provided.

Check equipment for faults and notify the relevant person.

Ensure all equipment is cleaned and correctly stored after use.

Report any maintenance required to the maintenance department.

Excellent ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work as a team.

Relevant Cleaning experience.

Good interpersonal skills.

Desirable Criteria:

Maths and English GCSE’s or equivalent
