We currently have a requirement for experienced Class 2 Drivers with Physical Labouring involved on a daily basis, for an immediate start.

This position will see you operating Class 2 manual vehicles whilst carrying out general labouring duties such as high pressure waterblasting, operation of industrial vacuums, acting as a spotter and basic ad hoc labouring from time to time. The split between Driving and Labouring is 30/70, with full training given in the operation of plant and equipment.

Ideally all applicants will have Class 2 experience driving within Metro Christchurch, are comfortable working in a dirty and wet environment at times and are physically fit and capable of being on their feet each day.

These roles are based in Hornby, working Monday to Friday with a requirement to be on call one weekend every five to six weeks. General starting times do vary between 5am and 7am with some night works required from time to time with plenty of warning given on these. Starting rate is $27 per hour, with time and a half after the first 9 hours of each shift. Some travel may be required, with all meals, flights and accommodation paid for as well as an overnight allowance should this occur.
