Leading South island construction company are looking for a Civil Foreman based at our Dunedin Depot. For the right candidate this is an amazing opportunity to become part of a growing leading construction company based in the South Island. Your new role

The right person would ideally have experience in the industry, with a sound understanding of team management and organisational skills. You will oversee a small team of 2-3 people, working on minor projects or smaller works on larger projects. You will be a proficient operator with all types of civil machinery, while being involved in minor pricing work on projects around the Dunedin area.

What you'll need to succeed

• Skills and experience in general civil works, roading and drainage (desirable)
• Ability to work productively without direct supervision
• Class 4 licence and W, T and R endorsements (these can be provided under a training agreement for the right person)
• Deliver contract specifications to a high standard within specified time frames
• A positive attitude and work ethic
• Excellent verbal and good written communication skills
• Take a lead on health and safety
• STMS qualification (desirable)
• High standard of workmanship
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
