Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
This is a great role where you will be supporting a young boy at school on a 2:1 basis, however there will also be occasions where his care will need to be carried out at his home in Walsall.
Playtime and fun are an important part of this role and having a genuine interest in working with children and young people is essential.
He loves to spend time outdoors and visiting the penguins at the Sea Life Centre. He also enjoys playing with his musical and sensory toys, crafts, and bubbles.
His complex care needs include but are not limited to tracheostomy care, nasogastric tube (NG tube) care and personal care.
We are looking for candidates who have had previous experience providing tracheostomy care to children.
Essential Experience Required
Tracheostomy Care (specifically with children)
Ventilation Management
6 months previous care experience
Medication Administration
Personal Care
Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
Nasogastric Care
Cough Assist
Oral Suctioning
Oxygen Administration
Shifts Available
Part Time
Days- 7am-5pm
Monday-Friday only
