What we do
We provide before-school care, after-school care, and provide holiday programmes throughout New Zealand. We offer exciting activities for children, including sports, arts and crafts, cooking, science experiments, games, and structured free time. We are a fast-paced, team environment that works together to ensure the safety and fun of the children.

What we are looking for
We are looking for staff members to join our team based at St Thoms\'s School, in Kohimarma, Auckland. We operate Monday to Friday, with school term hours based upon rostered shifts between 7:00 am-8.30 am and/or 2.30 pm-6:00 pm and 7:30 am-5:30 pm during school holiday periods.

Tasks & Duties:

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in the programme
  • Deliver activities to the children during the programme
  • Take instruction from Programme Coordinator/Supervisor
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are carried out
  • Comply with all written rules and follow all Programme Policies and Procedures.
  • Report promptly all Hazards and Hazardous/Notifiable Incidents.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve H&S performance.
  • Ensure the venue is always kept tidy and clean

The right person for this role will have the ability to engage with children, motivate and inspire them, ensure their safety and make them feel valued and cared for. Applicants for this role must:

  • be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please be aware that this role is in an industry covered by the COVID-19 vaccination mandate, and you will be required to provide proof of vaccination.
  • have a police check. Our organisation takes child safety and child protection responsibilities seriously, and staff recruitment is carried out in accordance with the requirement of the Vulnerable Children Act (2014).
  • be in New Zealand and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa to be considered for the position.
  • provide a cover letter and CV along with a minimum of 2 referees on your CV
  • be super-reliable
  • thrive in a team environment 
  • have great communication skills 
  • enjoy working with children
