What will you be doing with us?

We have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for two amazing Permanent Full-Time Chefs to join our team within the Domestic Lounge of our Christchurch Airport Operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

This role within the lounge will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting exceptional food, adding to outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers. You will be participating in a team that goes above and beyond for our valued clientele and obtains the high levels of service standards expected at all times. The shifts for the position will be mostly day shifts.

Our Perfect team member:

• Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment
• Have a friendly, outgoing personality, with a "can-do" attitude
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have proven experience in a similar role
• Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168)
• Demonstrate a passion for food, people, customer service and quality.
