We are currently on the look out for casual Chefs to join our BEL team, which caters for Toll Group, various Police Stations across the Auckland region, event spaces and many other exciting sites. The hours are on an as and when required basis.

Our Chefs are at the very heart of what we do.  Hundreds of thousands of people around New Zealand rely on us every day to provide their breakfasts, lunches and dinners. 

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving quality meals for our customers. You will need to be able to cook within budget, assist with ordering and menu development as well as ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers through allergen and nutrition management. You will also be catering for functions as required, and assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties

What we are looking for:

If you're our perfect candidate, you will:

• Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Experience in buffet, Al a carte and interactive cooking
• Have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment
• Demonstrate a passion for food, people, customer service and quality.
• Have excellent communication skills
• Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168)
