The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Full Time Chef to work at our site based at Tip Top in Mount Wellington, Auckland. Hours of work are Monday to Friday!

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be responsible for cooking high quality buffet style meals and function menus in a café environment and ensuring the quality of every dish we serve! You will need to be able to cook within budget, assist with ordering and menu development as well as ensuring the health and wellbeing of our customers through allergen and nutrition management.  You will also assist with serving customers.

What we are looking for:

If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will already have at least 2 years' experience working in a commercial kitchen and ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168). A background in the cafe environment would be an advantage but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
