About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic Chef to deliver a high quality product and diverse service offering from ala carte to food court dining at the unique at our Catering operation at our military base in Burnham.  This role would suit a Chef who has a wide range of experience looking to step-up to a role that offers diversity, where no day is the same and where they can really make their mark. This is a Permanent full-time full time role.

In this role you would be responsible for:

• Cooking ala carte & cook to order with a strong emphasis on quality and presentation, delivering consistent and high quality menu service
• Organising and executing daily service/prep in an efficient and timely manner
• Ensure appropriate hygiene practices are followed by all kitchen staff including personal presentation and food safety plan procedure

The successful candidate will need to be able to:

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a qualified chef 
• Have strong emphasis on quality, presentation, delivering consistent high quality menu service while maintaining food cost  
• Have a strong work ethic and experience at supervisory level with the ability to work with your team
• Have a safety focus and an awareness of Health and Safety practices and protocols
• Providing on-site training with the objective of ensuring compliance and continuous improvement to the business.
