So, that's a little bit about us, now to 'what will you be doing with us?'
We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Chef De Partie to work at Saint Kentigerns in Pakuranga. This is for the 2022 academic year. Yes, that means you will have Christmas and New Year's off!
Minimum 30 hours a week, during education terms only. Our operation is 7 days a week, you must be available to work rostered alternate early & late shifts, which will include weekends and Public Holidays.

About the role:
In this position you will be responsible for cooking, preparing and presenting food while ensuring the quality of every dish we serve. You will need to be able to cook within budget, think on your feet and be a team player. Ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers through Allergen and Food Control Plan management.
Health and Safety and the wellbeing of our staff and customers is paramount to us and as such, you will be an advocate and role model for safety in the workplace. Along with keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
To be considered for this role you will have to:
Our perfect candidate will have a good understanding of Allergen and Food Control Plan management, be hard working, have excellent communication skills, with a friendly outgoing personality. Ideally will have at least 2 years of experience as a qualified chef and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167 & 168).
You will need to have the ability to work independently and confidently but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
