About the role and who we are looking for:

We have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for amazing Permanent part-time Chef to join our workforce within the Auckland Airport Air NZ Lounges. Hours of work are a minimum of 20 hours a week.

Your responsibilities: 

These key roles within the lounge will be responsible for:

• preparing, cooking and presenting exceptional food, adding to outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers.
• You will be required to work across the Air NZ International, Domestic and Regional lounges.

Ideal skills and experience you will:

• be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment;                                 
• experience in buffet, Al a carte and interactive cooking;
• have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment;
• demonstrate a passion for food, people, customer service and quality;
• have excellent communication skills;
• preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168).
