If you like to ensure your team can meet its goals every day, then this one is for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Supervisor to work at our Auckland Hospital location - full time permanent role across 7 days.

Ko o kawenga/Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of the ward kitchens, delegating tasks to employees, providing excellent and professional customer service, assisting with the preparation and presentation of food including checking any special requirements (specific dietary and allergen requirements), and general cleaning duties. Monitoring of procedures within the department and be consistent with high standards of quality and service.

He kōrero mōu/About you:

• Have previous experience in a team leader/supervisor position.
• Be passionate about delivering results and supporting your team to achieve their goals.
• Previous experience training employees is a must.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English language skills.
• Be a natural people person who is confident interacting with clinical staff and patients.
• High awareness of food safety and hygiene.
• Be reliable with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Hold a Food Safety Certificate (Unit Standard 167) is desirable.
