About the role and who we are looking for:

ESS are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Supervisor to work at Devonport Naval Base in Devonport, Auckland North Shore.  This is a Permanent Full Time position (40hrs per week), rostered across 7 days per week.

Your responsibilities: 

In this position you will be responsible for leading and developing the team to provide superb customer service and assist in food preparation and presentation. You will also be training your team to grow and encourage a positive team environment. In addition with ensuring that the day-to-day operation is delivered in accordance with both health and safety and client standards.

Ideal skills and experience you will:

If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will have previous experience working in a similar supervisory role, be articulate and highly organised, and able to juggle multiple demands. Ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168),or be happy to be train for one. You will be a natural leader, but most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!
