About the role:

At Compass Group we have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for an amazing Full Time Catering Supervisor within our Hamilton Regional Lounge.

We have fully flexible hours and a rostered across 7 days a week (as per business requirements).  

So, what will you be expected to do??

This key role within the lounge is responsible for ensuring our food, beverage and customer service is outstanding for our valued customers. This will be done by leading and participating in a team that goes above and beyond for our valued clientele and ensures we obtain the high levels of service standards expected at all times.

If you're our perfect candidate, you will:

• Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a natural knack for leading a diverse team, and understanding labour budgets
• Have proven experience within a 5-star/FOH environment and leading a team
• Have excellent communication skills and a friendly, 'can do' attitude
• Have experience with food preparation and adequate knowledge of beverages
• A Duty Managers certificate is not essential however it would be beneficial along with Host Responsibility knowledge
