About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for enthusiastic casual Catering Associates to work at out site at Tauranga Hospital. Hours of work are on an as and when required basis.

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be responsible for assisting with basic food preparation, serving food, designing sandwiches, making outstanding coffee for all customers, cash handling and stock control. You will be providing superb customer service and ensuring all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner as well as assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.

What we are looking for:

If you're our ideal candidate you will be a team player, have good time management and excellent communication skills, with a friendly proactive personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will adhere to the company's procedures and policies contributing to working in a safe work place. Ideally you will already have some experience in similar environment, have customer service experience, including Eftpos and till operation and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one. You will have great customer service skills but, most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.

To be considered for this position you: 

• will be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
• will need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check.
• will need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status.
