What will you be doing with us?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Full Time Catering Assistant to work at our Canterbury Museum Cafe in Christchurch. Hours of work are 30hrs per week rostered over 7 days. Total flexibility therefore required.

The great things you'll do:

In this role you will be serving and delivering meals, making sandwiches, assisting the cook, and general kitchen and cleaning duties.

What we are looking for:

If you're our perfect candidate, you will:

• Be a born performer, hardworking, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
• Have previous experience working in a front of house position
• Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168 (or be happy to train for one)
• Have a basic understanding of Café food preparation.
• Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality
