The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements. The day unit is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.

Treatments at the hospital also include cataract removal, ENT procedures, hernia repair, varicose vein surgery, hysterectomy, prostate surgery and urological procedures.

The role

In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. The role consists of working in our well-equipped kitchen and staff restaurant. The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Chef team to provide a premium level of service to our patients, staff and visitors and will be involved in all aspects of service delivery including food preparation, first class presentation, restaurant service and general cleaning.

What you will do:

• Serve meals to patients and staff in the dining room​​​​​​​
• Clean the department after service

What you will bring:

• Experience in a catering environment
• Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene  - Desirable (this training can be provided)
• Experience within a healthcare environment - Desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• An ability to work independently and to manage own priorities and strict deadlines
• Flexibility, adaptability & initiative
