At Compass Group we have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for amazing Permanent Full Time Catering Assistant to join our team within our Hamilton Regional Lounge. Hours of work are 30hrs per week rostered across the 7 day week.

You will be responsible for: 

Reporting to the Catering Manager, this key role within the catering is responsible for ensuring our highly engaging service culture is translated into outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers. You will be participating in a team that goes above and beyond for our valued clientele! You will also be responsible for sandwich production.

To be considered for this role you will have the following:

• Hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a friendly, outgoing personality
• Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
• Have previous experience working in a front of house position
• Have excellent knowledge of coffee and experience in sandwich preparation
• Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168
• Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality.
• be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
• need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check
• need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status
