About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Part-Time Catering Assistant to work at our Fonterra site in Hautapu, Waikato. Hours of work are 08:00 - 14:30, rostered across 7 days a week with a minimum of 18 hours a week. 

You will be responsible for:

• assisting the cooks with food preparation and serving of meals.
• prepare delicious sandwiches,
• provide superb customer service, and
• assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.

Ideal skills and experience you will have:

If you're our ideal candidate you will be hard working, reliable and honest, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience in a similar environment, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one.

You will have superior customer service skills, but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality. You will also have your own reliable transport.
