About the role and who we are looking for:

Our ESS team are looking for an exceptional Permanent Full Time Catering Assistant to join our team. This role is based at the Papakura Military Camp in Papakura, Auckland. Hours of work are rostered across Monday to Sunday; 40hrs per week. Total flexibility therefore required.

You will be responsible for: 

In this position you will responsible for waiting/clearing tables, dishwashing, pot washing, receiving deliveries and unloading as well as assisting with food preparation. You will so be providing professional customer service and assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.

Ideal skills and experience you will have:

If you're our ideal candidate, you will be an energetic person with a great customer service and team player focus. You will be a multitasker, organised, hardworking, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.  Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
