He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to work at our Defence site in Devonport, Auckland on a Permanent Full Time Basis (Minimum 30hrs per week).

Shift hours are rostered across 7 days per week between the hours of 05.00 & 19.00. The two rostered shift times are 05:00 - 13:30 & 10:30 - 19:00 (you should be able to work either. Therefore total flexibility is required).

The great things you'll do:

In this position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to the sites residents and responding to their requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. You also be setting the dining tables, and assisting in general cleaning and kitchen duties.

What we are looking for:

If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will have experience working in a similar front of house role, be articulate and highly organised, and able to juggle multiple demands. Ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one. But most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!
