About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work in our site at Burnham Military Camp, 28km south of Christchurch. Hours of work are Permanent Full Time rostered across the week so flexibility is required.

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be working within the ESS Burnham Mess (Dining Hall) assisting with the preparation and presentation of amazing food, producing outstanding coffee, cash handling, washing dishes and general cleaning duties.

What we are looking for:

If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar position making coffee and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one. You will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
