About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for enthusiastic casual Catering Assistants to work at our site in Whanganui. Hours of work are on an as and when required basis.

You will be responsible for: 

In this position you will be responsible for basic cooking and food preparation, providing superb customer service to the sites residents, stock control and assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.

Ideal skills and experience you will have:

Ideally we are looking for someone that has previous cooking experience, superior customer service, cash handling and reconciliation experience and experience in barista & coffee bar service.

If you're our perfect candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167).You will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
