We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Part-Time Catering Assistant to work at our Senior Living site (CHT Lansdowne) in Manukau, Auckland. Hours of work are Saturday and Sunday 10:00 - 18.30.

Your responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with basic food preparation, cooking and serving of the resident's meals. You will also be assisting with sandwich preparation, baking, and ensuring all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. In addition, you will be providing superb customer service to the sites residents and assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.

Ideal skills and experience:

If you're our perfect candidate, you will have a high attention to detail, be willing to go the extra mile and take pride and ownership of the role. You will have experience working in a similar environment and have a passion for working with the elderly.

You will have high standards in personal presentation, as well as a have a friendly, helpful, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
