He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for?

We have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember and as such, we have exciting opportunities for amazing Casual Catering Assistants to join our team at Wellington Airport.  Hours of work are available across 7 days per week but on an as and when required basis.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

This key role within the lounge is responsible for ensuring our highly engaging service culture is translated into outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers. You will be participating in a team that goes above and beyond for our valued clientele!

He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you're our perfect candidate, you will:

• Be a born performer, hardworking, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
• Have previous experience working in a front of house position
• Have excellent knowledge of coffee and experience in food preparation
• Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168
• Have a basic understanding of Café food preparation.
• Demonstrate a passion for people, customer service and quality

• This role is covered by the Air New Zealand Group Vaccination Policy and will require you to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status.
• A Criminal Conviction History Check for NZ (MoJ Check) check is required.
• Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
