We are a well-established construction company located in Auckland. With the development of our business, we would like to hire Carpenters to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced team and working on different projects around Auckland.

Ideal candidate is expected to have relevant three years’ work experience in construction industry at a similar role. Relevant registration is expected in this role. Supervision will be provided to the candidates.

Tasks Include:

• Studying building plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures
• Planning ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts
• Measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape
• Assembling and nailing the prepared wood parts to form structures and fittings
• Erecting and install wall, roof, staircases and window framing and boards
• Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
• Constructing building frames and install cladding on the inside and outside of buildings
• Removing and repairing existing fittings

Other requirements:

• Able to work independently
• Be efficient, reliable and punctual
• Good time management skills
• Able to cooperate with the team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Able to work on weekends
• Travel anywhere within Auckland
