This Career Development Consultant, Massey University Career Centre (MCC), role is a national one in which you will connect with tauira (students), colleagues, and communities across Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa, and employ a Te Tiriti-led approach to career development concepts, practices, and projects. You will play a big part in our small, dynamic team, one dedicated to supporting our tauira and recent graduates in all aspects of their career readiness and professional development. Can you do the following?:
As well as having knowledge of student and graduate recruitment processes and practices, you would need to be a confident presenter, skilled facilitator and able to build collaborative working relationships across different teams.
We are increasingly data-driven, so experience in data analysis and the use of data management platforms would be an asset, although not a deal-breaker.
You can be based in either Palmerston North or Wellington and travel between campuses will be required. Also required is the ability to work evening hours, and some weekend hours, on occasions.
