Care Centre Manager

Location: South Canterbury (rural location)

Salary: up to $100k per annum plus large relocation bonus!

Permanent, Full time

Hours: Monday to Friday with some on-call duties

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Leadership and the mentoring of your staff
• Maintaining and exceeding occupancy targets
• Ensuring that reporting requirements are submitted accurately within required time frames.
• Ensuring that Risk Management is conducted in a professional and proactive manner in order to minimise any undue exposure or clinical risk.
• Maintaining an environment of continuous quality improvement.
• Building & Maintaining excellent relationships with residents, families & MDT's
• Preparing for audits
• HR and recruitment of your team

This is a full-time, permanent position.

On-site, support includes a dedicated team of RN's and HCAs on every shift, good staff to resident ratio, and a strong administration team. The workplace culture is positive and everyone is prepared to roll up their sleeves and pitch in for the benefit of the residents.

Skills and Experience required to apply for this Clinical Manager opportunity

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, eg Registered General Nurse with current APC
• Must be InterRAI trained
• Recent experience in clinical or management in a continuing care hospital facility
• Strong management and administration skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Be an effective communicator with influencing skills
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Computer literacy
• Resident focus
• High personal standards
• Health & Safety
