HC-One is very pleased to have secured over half a million pounds to internally refurbish Market Lavington.

Market Lavington has a direct relationship with the NHS offering a Discharge To Asses service. This service enables us to care for Residents on discharge from hospital to understand their longer term needs and understand what type of care maybe required for the future. This type of care is extremely varied and can be quite complex providing an opportunity for you, as a Care Assistant, to use your diverse knowledge and skills!

A former vicarage set in the Wiltshire countryside, Market Lavington is a welcoming and warm care home that provides a variety of expert care, including convalescence, residential dementia care, palliative care and care for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Market Lavington has warm living areas that create a comfortable home from home setting. All bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and most come with ensuite facilities and beautiful views of the surrounding gardens.

About You

As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well being and social needs of our residents. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.

Delivering a level of care that truly comes from the heart. It’s about making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the care home. And, whether you’re helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you’ll always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
