Amazon EMEA Ops Talent Acquisition (TA) is growing and growing fast. To support TA's continued growth we are now looking to recruit and experienced Capacity Planning Manager, based in the either Amazons UK, London or EU, Luxembourg office.




Key job responsibilities
As Capacity Planning Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in EMEA Ops TA, Recruiting Programs and Services team.

You will seek to understand and translate central workforce and demand planning models, to develop and implement a robust and transparent headcount capacity plan for EMEA, utilising a range of resourcing methods to meet seasonal and peak hiring demand.

You will work closely with business and finance forecasting teams to unpick central demand planning models, diving deep to provide EMEA TA leadership and recruiting managers with simple and actionable headcount plans ahead of time.


A day in the life
As Capacity Planning Manager for EMEA Ops Talent Acquisition, your typical day will be spent working on the following deliverables and responsibilities:
· Partner with central workforce, business planning and finance teams to understand and input into annual planning cycle processes
· Act as the voice of TA for all headcount and planning matters to ensure EMEA Ops TA is staffed correctly to meet its customer promise of delivering the right talent, at the right time
· Seek to understand and plan for seasonal hiring peaks and onward impact on TA headcount needs, considering both permanent and temporary hiring channels
· Deliver simple, digestible headcount plans for EMEA, split by country, lead, business lane
· Model and develop opportunities for process and cost efficiencies in staffing models, including; temporary vs permanent staffing ratios, low cost geographies and offshoring to improve overall productivity and cost per hire
· Support EMEA TA leadership teams, owning monthly and quarterly business and headcount review meetings, to adjust and amend plans as required due to changing business demand, forecasting or operational launch plans

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven track record of success in a Capacity Planning, Demand or Workforce Management role.
· Experience in building and analyzing models for forecasting and headcount optimization.
· Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, and a high level of dedication, enthusiasm, motivation, and persuasive ability in a team and cross-functional environment
· Proficient in advanced usage of Microsoft Excel and wider Microsoft and demand planning tools.
· Excellent communication and influencing skills
· Ability to take complex data sets and demand plans and translate into clear localised headcount plans

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Prior experience in a program and or project management role
· PRINCE 2 or wider project management certification
· Exposure to operating in a complex, matrix led business
