What will you be doing | Ngā whainga

This is brand-new role within our People and Corporate Affairs team. As The Capability Advisor you will have a strong focus and work closely with our General Manager Pou Ārahi Māori to build cultural capability and confidence within the organisation.

You'll also support our Global Talent Partner to deliver recruitment services and onboarding projects. The role provides plenty of variety and the ability to work on a range of projects and initiatives from coordinating the delivery of our Whānau Welcome to designing initiatives for our employee induction experience.

This is an exciting time to be in tourism and an incredibility meaningful time to join as boarders look to reopen.

What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga

• Strong understanding of Te Ao Māori including Tikanga and Te Reo Māori and experience supporting people to further their capability and confidence in these areas.
• A solid understanding of learning and developing capability in either an education or similar role.
• Exposure to recruitment or a willingness to develop skills in this area
• Experience in designing and implementing learning initiatives
• Strong interpersonal skills and organisation know-how
• Superb organisational skills  
• Positive, self-starter with a can-do attitude
• An openness to embrace and learn new things.
