Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Media Lab's mission is to enable and drive Google Marketing to be a sophisticated and data-driven online advertiser, spanning both brand and direct response forms of advertising. This team houses brand and programmatic, performance media, media technology, and creative capability. The Campaign Governance and Operations (CGO) team specifically ensures that Google Marketing’s media campaigns align to Google’s brand guidelines and best practices, and maintain Google’s brand reputation and high quality standards. As a CGO Manager within the Campaign Governance and Operations Media Lab team in Google Marketing, you will manage and enforce compliance policies, guidelines, and best practices for Google Marketing campaigns with Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and agencies.

 You will be a key consultant who works alongside our digital media teams when planning campaigns and help ensure that our advertising is deployed into the marketplace in a compliant manner. You will understand campaign operations and will look for opportunities to make ad operations efficient and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enforce compliance policies, guidelines, and best practices for Google Marketing campaigns with PMMs and agencies.
  • Employ expertise in digital ad products and the ads ecosystem to provide consultation and troubleshooting support to PMMs and agencies.
  • Perform recurring audits and monitoring of accounts, campaigns, and agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Work with global leads and cross-functional teams (e.g., Compliance, Privacy, Legal, etc.) to manage the enforcement of policies, collaborate on regional policies, and stay informed on external regulatory restrictions.
  • Identify automated and scalable solutions for enforcement with PMMs and agencies.
