The Telecommunications Solution Strategy Team is responsible for strategic business planning, portfolio management, and evangelizing the art of the possible for Telecommunication Solutions to our field. This includes working alongside Digital Advisors, Customer Success Managers, Services Solution Sales Professionals, and Industry Architects as we help our customers design and realize their own unique Telecommunications capabilities.

Responsibilities
As a member of the Microsoft Services Telecommunications Solution Strategy Team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of services offers, including research, strategy and lifecycle management, and will be an ambassador for this business inside and outside of Microsoft.
Our goal is to help customers gain even greater ROI from their investment in Microsoft Technologies, ultimately increasing customer value and customer usage of the platform. As such, activities for this role include:
Leading development of integrated industry offerings for Telecommunication partners bringing power of Azure, Microsoft Solutions & Partner eco-system, and our unique capabilities including 5G, MEC, IoT, AI, AR/VR.
Contributing to the setting of the Telecommunications Offering strategy and motion while working to ensure alignment and collaboration with worldwide Commercial Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing and Engineering teams.
Working with business development, industry teams and directly with select customers to identify top use cases benefiting from 5G & MEC capabilities and work with our ISV partners and industry solution delivery organization to develop and orchestrate solutions for these use cases. These may include edge IoT solutions, AR/VR experiences or gaming & video streaming platforms capabilities across industry verticals.
Deeply engage with select customers and ISVs to ideate and develop “first of the kind†opportunities in 5G both in the private and public MEC space.
Working with Azure engineering, Industry & Solutions Area Architects to develop blueprints for private MEC architectures inclusive of 1st & 3rd party EPC solutions.
Developing and publishing thought leadership in various formats (internal/external presentations, webcasts, articles, etc.) and be an active voice in industry bringing the Microsoft point of view on the opportunities that the next generation of connectivity and MEC enabled compute provides.
Engaging with field sales roles to provide support, training, and direct assistance with customer discussions and presales pursuits
Help integrating with Industry Partners: To work with the partner ecosystem, to bring the best and the most efficient solutions to the customers.
Gathering customer and seller feedback, summarize, and inform and impact the Telecommunications portfolio.
Working as a member of a team of Business Program Managers and Architects focused on Telecommunications strategy, offeringsand business performance for Microsoft Services
Working with key internal partners like the Digital Advisors, Customer Success Managers, Domain Solution Architects, and field sales teams to drive sales and delivery.
Market and industry research, competitive value proposition development, business performance analysis, and business execution planning.

Do you possess professional experience in management consulting, offering/product strategy, marketing, sales, technology implementation, and/or related field
Deep expertise in selling and implementing productivity-based solutions across multiple industries.
Proven ability to understand and capitalize on industry and market trends, customer requirements and Microsoft priorities to develop a strategic execution plan for the business
Demonstrated track record of effective communication with technical and business leaders at all levels within large enterprises
Demonstrated thought-leadership in public and internal settings/conferences
Experience creating and executing plans in collaboration with large HQ and field organizations
Global experience across several markets
Relevant undergraduate degree and /or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred
The salary range for this role based in Colorado is from $144,600 to $216,600. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
