The operation of our Services team is underpinned by a knowledgeable, trusted and value-adding Business Operations team. This team drives most of the key processes and systems that enable and support the leadership, management and consultants within Services, allowing them to focus on our customers and our people. 

About the position:

We are now recruiting a Senior Analyst to work within the Business Operations team, actively contributing to all aspects of its work and taking a leadership role in key areas. It’s a fast-paced environment within this growing team, where attention to detail, focusing on business impact, and the provision of business insights are priorities. 

Key areas of responsibility:

Profit and Loss Management and Revenue Impacting Compliance

Owning and driving, with operational efficiency, the following processes across the different regions:

  • Billings Support:

    • Billings/Invoicing support to the field,

    • End-Of-Month Billing Variances,

    • Achievement Management

  • Revenue Management and Forecasting:

    • Partner with staffing to understand impacts,

    • Monitoring Achievement progress/delays,

    • Operational Revenue Forecasting,

    • Backlog analysis (scheduled & unscheduled),

    • Forecasting Accuracy

  • Budget and Risk Management:

    • Investment (“SWE”) Management & Analysis, ensure timely completion and within budget - making adjustments as necessary, handling contractual risk (“WWP”)

    • Projects not being over-billed, accuracy of forecasts and schedules, project record data hygiene (assignment/project/swe closures, end dates maintained, stage accuracy)

  • Cost and Supplier Management:

    • Maintain accurate and up to date Supplier contracts (work orders) and PO budget tracking

    • Support Supplier invoice approval & reconciliation processes

 

Business Engagement

  • Collaboration & Partnership:

    • Partner with Regional VPs, Regional Services Leads, Sales Operations, and liaison with the rest of the business

    • Direct communication with Delivery and Project Management: budget/term reminders, forecasting accuracy

    • Manage, train and field questions from various teams on areas of project management, sales, invoicing, billing, systems, training, etc.

  • Reporting & Analysis:

    • Reports and dashboards for general business, to monitor KPI metrics, delivery efficiency, data accuracy, special requests for leadership support (Quarterly Business Reviews, “All Hands” communications events, misc needs), support, host, participate in report-outs to various audiences, weekly reporting of Revenue, Bookings & Margin

    • Drive Consistent Messaging: Monthly/Quarterly business reviews, regular reporting of regional analysis & insights

About You

  • Experience in an operations focused role, or equivalent work experience that maps to many or all of the key areas of responsibility

  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative

  • Excellent attention to detail but able to see the ‘big picture’

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive toward deadlines

  • Action oriented with strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written business communication and verbal presentation skills

  • Team player who demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire for collaboration support & services.

  • Comfortable with evolving responsibilities and flexibility to adapt within a developing company
