About the role:

You will design, develop and maintain the data platforms that support agile ways of working. The role will cover their data warehouse, analysis and reporting technologies as well as diving into specific data preparation and analysis when needed. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that the company is setup to extract value and insight from the data that they collect and maintain.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop and maintain data warehouse, key frameworks and data models
• Ensure BI environment usability, stability, scalability and security
• Build, modify and maintain SSRS reports
• Contribute to wider data integration and automation initiatives
• Support their agile teams with data preparation and analysis to meet their needs, and handle ad-hoc data analysis requests from the wider team and stakeholders where required
• Testing and release management for BI developments

To be successful you will need:

You will be a proactive, driven individual who is flexible, adaptable and willing to learn. A strong team player, you will need the following to be successful:

• A proven track record in the design, development and maintenance of data warehouse and BI solutions
• strong SQL skills (MS SQL Server preferred)
• Capable of building and supporting SSRS reports to meet user needs
• Comfortable with SSIS and/or other data extraction/integration tools (across multiple sources)
• Data exploration, analysis and visualisation skills
• Previous experience within financial services an advantage
• Able to travel regularly to different sites
