Job Description

Following the acquisition of EASYIO by Johnson Controls, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to manage Key accounts, whilst also developing markets outside our existing boundaries with our exiting and disruptive new product range. You will have the ability to identify key influencers within end users, consultants and major system houses, to assure the adoption, specification and installation success.

EASYIO entered the UK market several years ago, and has been seen as a disruptive force with built in IoT, webserver and wireless technologies, making it the choice of several of the world’s biggest companies based here in the UK. EasyIO believes that every building can be adapted easily and cost effectively to deliver the occupants assured outcomes. Whether on wellbeing performance, energy use effectiveness, accessibility and of course in terms of flexibility. 

 

The focus of this new role is to grow and develop existing and new customer contacts as we aim to be the partner of choice for all BMS (Building Management Systems) solutions through the lifecycle of the investment, we are committed to deliver world-class service, energy, and operational performance.

 

How you will do it

 

Reporting to, and working closely with the Regional Sales Leader UK & France, you will have the support of the Southern System House area sales manager and technical support team. 

  • Analyse market opportunities, develop and implement strategies to maximise EASYIO market share with new and existing customers.
  • Working with existing key end users and consultants, to continue the deployment of Easy IO products throughout their existing and future buildings.
  • Actively manage key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • You will co-ordinate with the regional sales managers, all EasyIO sales activities for your existing key accounts where sites outside London area are included in works.
  • Research and identify potential EASYIO customers including end users, consultants and major System Houses. 
  • Identify key competitors, their business strategies, products and services to favourably differentiate EASYIO within the market place.
  • Manage entire bid process from receipt of enquiry through costings, negotiations and to order receipt.
  • Develop and deploy CPD presentations targeted on EASYIO IoT technology with the goal of increasing product specification.

What we look for

  • Experience of negotiating at Director level
  • Previous BMS sales experience 
  • Customer focused, being able to understand their requirements and build long term relationships.
  • Excellent communicator and organiser, ability to liaise with personnel at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, able to work alone or on a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to travel
