Disaster Recovery Business Analyst (Contractor) - Auckland

Calling all Business Analysts who are looking for an exciting, new contract!! Randstad is working with a NZ leading organisation who are changing the way we travel and connecting us to our families and friends within NZ and overseas. As part of their team, you will be primarily responsible for managing the enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery frameworks to ensure the company remains resilient and compliant with best practices and regulations. The end goal is a consistent and connected customer experience. Reporting to the Senior Manager Disaster Recovery, this role will carry out the following duties;

  • Working with the DR (Disaster Recovery) Manager to implement, maintain and manage the Digital IT (Information Technology) Disaster Recovery management framework.
  • Governance for Disaster Recovery assurance including policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Interface with the Digital Community to ensure that new and ongoing projects sustain the level of recoverability consistent with business objectives.
  • Interface with Digital and Business partners to oversee the creation of key Disaster Recovery artefacts (ie. DR Runbooks) and assessments.
  • Develop and implement quality processes to track, analyse and report on key performance indicators for stakeholders around DR and Risk Management.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with product managers and vendors to determine requirements, support implementation of system and process changes, resolve issues and to enable them to maximise the benefits of information technology investments.

Experience / skills required:

  • Risk management experience.
  • Advanced analytical, business modeling and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced technical or systems analysis experience in enterprise-scale systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

On Offer: 6 month contract, comp. hourly rates available, ASAP start, weekly pay, flexible working
