Branch Manager

Our client is looking for a Branch Manager to take the helm of their high-performing automotive outlet in Petone.

With an extensive range of products and an unparalleled reputation within the Automotive, Marine and Commercial industries, this role has huge potential for the right candidate to make a name for themselves.

In this position you will manage all aspects of the business - operations, stock, logistics, Health & Safety, as well as grow and develop existing accounts.

In this role you will manage all aspects of the business' operations as well as develop and grow the sales department. You will also be responsible for bringing in new business as well as nurturing and developing existing key accounts.

Your attention to detail, customer-focused attitude and sales experience will help grow the branch and enhance its already stellar reputation.

About You

  • In-depth working knowledge of Sales, Business Management and Relationship Building
  • At least 2 years' experience in Management or Assistant Management
  • Driven, personable and empathetic
  • Previous experience running teams of high performing staff
  • Solid understanding of merchandising and stock management
  • Detail orientated
  • Previous product marketing experience highly regarded

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Train & develop your team in line with Company visions and values
  • Promote a positive team environment to maximise sales
  • Lead from the front and present a professional impression in all activities
  • Ensure that budget is achieved and exceeded
  • Effectively manage all aspects of staffing including disciplinary procedures
  • Build positive relationships with all customers and suppliers
  • Manage inventory and stock levels within company guidelines

Your experience in sales and team management will enable you to run a profitable business and will remunerate you accordingly.

You will report directly to the Regional Operations and Sales Manager. You will be given autonomy to run the branch as you see fit, providing all operational procedures are met.
