Rove Concepts is currently on the search for a Bookkeeper to join our growing team. We are looking for a meticulous individual with an enthusiastic and motivated personality to help our business grow.

The successful candidate will receive a deepened knowledge and understanding of the accounting & finance activities of the business. With great exposure to much of the business' operations in addition to the typical and traditional accounting and finance role - this opportunity will excite the right person who is eager to take their finance career to the next level.

NOTE- this role is for local residents only as you will be working on-site at our Vancouver office.

What you'll do:

• Assist and eventually own full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports and statistics for the leadership team
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable related tasks
• Banking deposits, transfers, and reconciliations
• Administrative duties related to finance & accounting such as file management
• Forecasting and budgeting assistance
• Assist in other areas of the business - as a partner with visibility into financials, the incumbent should be able to aid in various aspects of the business
• Other ad hoc projects and duties as required

You'll likely have...

• Bookkeeping & accounting familiarity; knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred
• Bachelor's degree, with accounting or finance focus, preferred
• Intermediate level of excel including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively, in both verbal and written communication
• An extremely detail-oriented mind with meticulous work - but you also know how to balance priorities
• A great team player mindset! You’re also resourceful when it comes to figuring things out.
