What you will do

As a result of recent growth, there is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager within our Building Management Systems (BMS) & Technology business. This new role will handle and develop relationships with a number of key account customers within the BMS, IOT, connected buildings and digital market. The role will focus on growth of existing customer relationships with targeted expansion plans through new customers and projects within a specific vertical.

 How you will do it

 As Sales Manager you will be empowered to make decisions and effectively lead key accounts. You will excel within a commercial environment, running multiple priorities simultaneously, leaning on your excellent planning, organisation and Sales skills. A key part of the role is to map the customer network, understand the full organisation and define a tailored account plan. You will develop relationships and be responsible for a proactive plan to ensure our customers understand the true value of our integrated solutions provided.

 The successful candidate will excel in transitioning the discussion away from compliance towards technology and BMS solutions and how this solves important end user challenges – delivering true value through the customer lifecycle.

What we look for 

  • Ability to energise and align others to deliver, in an engaging way
  • Knowledge and understanding of BMS control systems, IOT or connected buildings.
  • Able to articulate the value in sophisticated and often tailored solutions
  • Previous experience in an account manager, business development of sales role with a consistent record of delivering results, ideally from within a building services/solution environment.
  • Ability to manage, influence and collaborate with both internal & external partners at all levels
  • Experience of CRMs and in particular Salesforce.com will be an advantage.
