We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our Distribution team in Thatcham who will report to the Assistant Manager. The job holder will provide an effective and efficient delivery service ensuring the highest standard of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for.

As an experienced Delivery Driver, you will have an appreciation for great service as you will be responsible for the reduction of returns by ensuring the correct handling of all merchandise when loading and delivering.

As you will be delivering to different locations Knowledge of London and the Home Counties is desirable.

Please note the successful applicant must hold a Category C Licence.

This position works varied shifts between 5am and 11pm across any 5 of 7 days a week with regular weekend work.

Your daily task will include but will not be limited to:

• Assist your Trunking team when there is a need for cover as and when required.
• Handle and assemble furniture.
• Remain fully acquainted with the company’s Fleet Insurance policy.
• Keep your vehicle clean and tidy.
• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to.

About you

As an experience driver you will hold a clean driving license (C1E), A digital tachograph smart card and a driver (CPC) holder. The jobholder must be able to work flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role.
