Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

Our high performing Project Management Office team is growing, and as such we are now looking to recruit a Senior Programme Reporting Analyst to be based from our vibrant, waterfront Hobsonville Point office. This exciting role will allow you to fully utilise your understanding of Business Intelligence emerging capabilities to design and deliver innovative solutions to complex business needs. In addition, you will manage key project controls resources to facilitate the delivery of a multi-million/billion dollar portfolio.

Day-to-day this might include:

• Collaborating on the identification, design and build of complex analytical data transformations
• Transforming and integrating structured and unstructured data into meaningful, high quality, reporting data
• Mentoring and guiding members of the Project Delivery teams and members of the broader Kāinga Ora Analytics community
• Presenting and communicating complex data in a way that is comprehensible to non-technical audience
• Driving the development and delivery of innovative Business Intelligence solutions to inform evidence based decision-making
• Advising and consulting on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (i.e. Earned Value, Cost / Schedule Variance, Estimate at Completion, Critical Path Analysis, etc).

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

This role could be an ideal fit for you if you have a Maths, Physics or Statistics degree, or equally an Engineering or construction qualification, advanced Excel (VBA) and Power BI (DAX), and a minimum of 6 years' relevant post-graduate work experience. As our ideal candidate you will also demonstrate:

• Expert understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Proven programme reporting and project control experience preferably within infrastructure and / or land development industries
• Expertise with Programming software, BI tools especially Oracle databases, SQL Server, and front end solution to edit data in the Server
• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with teams to ensure project deadlines are met
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
