About the role:
In joining us in the Chief Data and Analytics office as a BI Platform Manager (Power BI) you’ll play an important part in implementing our strategic BI and visual analytics strategy for thousands of users.
You’ll help shape the implementation of Power BI, one of the Group’s strategic BI tools, by scaling the Power BI Platform across 000s of users, setting the strategy and monitoring and governance frameworks to ensure we maximise the value we get from the platform.
We are on a mission to bring data driven decisions to every corner of the bank, and we need your help in enabling this through your excellent knowledge of Business Intelligence and Visual Analytics tools and technology.
This is a great opportunity for a confident data and analytics practitioner in a team that is constantly innovating, growing, and helping our members develop.
About you
You're the sort of person who has played a key role in managing BI and Visual Analytics platforms at a large organisation in a complex environment with hybrid on premise and cloud infrastructure. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and an understanding of technology architecture principles.
The types of things you could expect to be doing in this role would involve:
Helping the Group make the most of Power BI for the right use cases.
Implement sustainable, efficient Operating Model for Power BI that scales up to 000’s of users.
Monitoring use of the Power BI platform to ensure compliance with our Security and Data Management policies.
Working with teams across the Group to implement changes on the Platform.
Monitoring and controlling the cost of Power BI usage.
