POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located in Loretteville, the Jardins Katerina residence, managed by Cogir, offers a friendly atmosphere where it is stimulating to work. We have a dedicated and caring team for autonomous seniors and those with a slight loss of autonomy.

We are looking for a Night Beneficiary Attendant who will contribute to the quality of life for residents. The Beneficiary Attendant sees to the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answering call bells
• Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
• Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
• Maintaining organization in resident’s rooms and maintaining supplies
• Respond to all emergency situations
• While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• No experience necessary
• Geriatric experience, an asset
• Law 90 training
• Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
• PDSB training
