Hello,

We are looking for a responsible, friendly, kindy and playful after school nanny. Our children are 7, 5, and 3. The role involves getting them ready for their day and dropping them to kindy and school as well as picking them up from kindy and school walking them home. 

Mornings Tuesday and Thursday, 6.30-9.15
Afternoon, two of Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, 2-5pm.

In the morning you will help them get dressed, have breakfast, brush teeth and in general get ready for their days. Using our car you will take them to school and kindy. You need to be calm, considerate, focused and ensure that they arrive on time ready to have a positive and happy day.

In the afternoons you will pick them up from kindy and school and on the way home you may choose to have a picnic in the park, go to a playground, have a scooter or come directly home for a play with the many kid fun things we have there. You will give them a healthy afternoon tea, help the 7 and 5 year old with their homework and be a playful and kind carer for them until we arrive back. The kids are active and creative and don’t watch TV after school. 

In the afternoons we prefer you to walk. School is about 800m away from our home. Due to carseat requirements on some days if our car is not available  you need to be happy to walk this route and do so in all weather. The walk home is on suburban streets so while not dangerous you need to be very mindful, responsible and pay high attention around the roads, especially with our 3 year old.  

Household cleaning is not part of this role, however we would like you to unpack lunchboxes, put bags away and tidied up after yourself and the children. Occasionally we may ask you to put something in the oven for dinner or bring in the washing.  

Occasionally we may need some other days and times and an extra hand during the school holidays is always appreciated. The extra hours will be by agreement.
