Based in the city fringe, this 4 partner firm work with a portfolio of leading New Zealand and international businesses. Their compliance team offer a comprehensive compliance programme of work with financial reporting and tax returns throughout the tax calendar.

Your new role

Reporting into the partnership, you will lead a team of 3 direct reports to deliver the compliance programme throughout the year. You will

• allocate, complete and review client work based on skills and capacity
• stretch and grow your team's skill set through ongoing coaching and support
• represent your team at management meetings. Represent management to your team.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a proven BAS Manager with experience delivering a significant programme of accounting work. You will be confident calculating and submitting a wide range of tax returns including GST, FBT, FIF, NRWT and Provisional Tax. You will also be confident consulting with clients around streamlining their accounting and tax payment processes.
