About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Barista to work at our café site in Waitakere Hospital, Auckland, 40hrs per week. Hours of work are rostered across 7 days a week, 08:30 - 17:00.

You will be responsible for:

In this position you will be responsible for making consistently outstanding coffee for all customers, having good milk production and coffee art skills, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be assisting with general catering assistant duties in café.

Ideal skills and experience you will have:

• Past Barista Experience, working in a fast-paced environment;
• Have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment;
• Demonstrate a passion for food, people, customer service and quality;
• Have excellent communication skills;
• Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168).
