Boston West Hospital is a purpose built facility which provides services for assessment diagnosis and treatment of common medical conditions, and has a suite of outpatient rooms, treatment rooms and counselling facilities.

Treatments at the Hospital include Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Hernia Surgery, Knee Arthroscopy, Shoulder Arthroscopy, Cataract Surgery, Cystoscopy, Hand surgery, Foot surgery, minor Urology treatments, minor Gynaecological treatments, Vasectomy, Varicose vein surgery and Minor skin procedures.

The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated Ward department. Working as part of a team working alongside our Nurses & Consultants to deliver the best patient care. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine compassion and care for individuals and are keen to develop their skills. Previous experience in care is desirable however not essential as full support and training will be offered. An NVQ level 2 or 3 in care would be advantageous however at this time we can support you with your training needs. Attention to detail is key with the ability to stay calm and be practical in challenging situations.

Successful applicants will be self-directed and flexible and be able to hit the ground running. We are dedicated to a safe and quality approach to patient care, who are at the centre of what we do.
